National Healthcare Trust response to health crises
Healthcare Trust responds to health crises such as disease outbreaks in
Cholera, Typhoid, Measles and H1n1. The extent, urgency and severity of risk, be
it geographical (foot print of outbreak) or demographic (gender, age etc.)
determines the reach of the Trust's response as well as inform Trust's response
works through local and international non- governmental implementing partner organizations,
community based formal and informal organizations, local authorities,
government departments and individuals.
The Trust facilitates and supports through:
Procurement of medical drugs and sundry materials
Procurement of equipment
Human resources mobilisation
Logistical support (e.g. transport, communication)
Water Sanitation & Waste Management
Newly installed government recommended incinerator in Murehwa district.
