Partnership and Support
The Trust has become the partner of choice in government and community programmes, facilitating implementation through local and international Non-Governmental Organizations, community based formal and informal organisations, local authorities, government departments and individuals. The aim is to respond to national health crisis such as Cholera, Typhoid, Measles, H1N1 and other recurrent outbreaks; building capacity of the health delivery system to provide basic health care services and maintaining capacity in the health system.
The Trust supports the Zimbabwean health delivery system through:
Infrastructure development where health facilities have been refurbished and improved;
Provision and access to water, sanitation and waste management at health facilities;
Access to medical services for communities with access barriers ranging from long distances, user fees, medicines and staff shortages;
